    Deaf and Hard of Hearing ServicesProvides assistance to people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Offers information on assistive technology and various ways deaf and hard of hearing can use the telephone. Demonstrates listening and alerting devices. Assists in accessing services from state and local government agencies and service organizations. Provides a certificate that verifies hearing loss for a tuition waiver at state-supported post-secondary schools in Texas.     Family Support ServicesProvides services such as advocacy, go to school ARD with parents-all workers have children of their own with special needs, make appropriate community referrals, crisis intervention, assistance with transportation issues, help children find primary care physician and appropriate insurance, and resource library. Provides financial assistance to purchase necessary prescription drugs only for ages birth to 21, that are not on Medicaid.
